Cookie policy
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device and reads on later visits. Browser storage works in a similar way: local storage (localStorage) keeps data until it is deleted, and session storage (sessionStorage) is cleared when you close the browser tab or window.
This policy covers all of these technologies as used on technocenter.pl (the “Website”). The Website is operated by NEOFETCH Sp. z o.o., ul. Stefana Batorego 18/108, 02-591 Warszawa, Poland, trading as Technocenter.
How we use these technologies
The Website does not set its own cookies. Information the Website needs to work is kept in your browser’s storage. Unlike cookies, it is not sent to the server with every request: it reaches us only when you submit a form (the quote list and the request source information).
We run visit statistics with a tool that sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Only the anti-spam check described below may store technical data in your browser. The Website contains no advertising tools.
Necessary
This information is needed for features you use: remembering your catalog view and keeping your quote list. It does not require consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
tc-rfq | local storage | Your quote list: products, configurations or MPNs, quantities and comments added to a quote request. | Until you remove the items, clear the list or clear your browser data. The list is cleared after you submit the full quote request form. |
tc-view | local storage | Remembers the product list view you chose in the catalog: grid or list. | Until you change the view or clear your browser data. |
Request source information
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
tc-utm | session storage | Saved on a page with a form, only when the page address contains campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid). Stores these parameters, the landing page address and the referring page address, so that the source can be attached to a form you send in the same browser tab. | Until you close the browser tab or window. |
This source information reaches only us, together with the form you submit. We do not pass the saved data to analytics or advertising tools.
Visit statistics (no cookies)
We use Umami, running on the stats.scrape.pl server, for visit statistics. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, so it runs without a consent banner and covers every visit.
Umami records page views (page address and referring page, campaign parameters in the address, browser, operating system and device type, language, screen size and approximate location derived from the IP address) and these events: clicks on the phone number or email address, downloads of the company information pack, adding a product to the quote list (product name and quantity), catalog filter selections, search terms and form submissions. For forms we send only the form type, page language, number of items, attached file (format and size) and the selected payment method or purchase volume range. We do not send contact details or form content to the statistics.
Umami also records how a visit goes: changes on the page, cursor movements, clicks and scrolling. We use these recordings to find errors and unclear places on the Website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): analysing traffic and improving the Website. You can object by writing to [email protected]. Details are in the Privacy policy.
Form spam protection
When the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check is enabled (provider: Cloudflare, Inc.), its script loads as you approach a form. The widget usually stays invisible and appears only when an additional check is needed. Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and device, including your IP address, to tell people from bots, and may store technical data in your browser under its own domain for this purpose. The check protects the form you are sending.
Other form protections (a hidden honeypot field and a limit on submissions from one IP address) do not use cookies or browser storage.
Browser settings
In your browser settings you can block cookies or delete cookies and site data, including local storage. If you block browser storage for the Website, your quote list will not be remembered between visits. All other features, including the forms, keep working.
More information
How we process personal data, including legal bases, recipients and your rights, is described in the Privacy policy. Send questions about cookies to [email protected].
We update this policy when the tools used on the Website change. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update.
