Business desktops in Poland: tower, SFF or mini
Microsoft 365, ERP, browser tools and video calls run fine on an Intel Core Ultra 5 or AMD Ryzen 5 PRO with 16 GB RAM, a 512 GB SSD and Windows 11 Pro. Analysts and developers who run virtual machines need 32 GB. Windows 10 support ended on 14 October 2025. Machines that cannot run Windows 11 are due for replacement.
Pick the case by the desk it goes on.
- Tower takes a full-size graphics card, extra drives and more memory. Choose it if the machine will be upgraded or needs a strong GPU.
- SFF (small form factor) sits on or under the desk and takes low-profile cards. Open-plan offices use it a lot.
- Mini is the size of a book and mounts behind a monitor on a VESA bracket. Good for reception, hot desks and meeting rooms.
The main business lines are Dell Pro Tower, Slim and Micro (formerly OptiPlex), Lenovo ThinkCentre M in Tower, SFF and Tiny formats, and HP Elite and HP Pro (formerly EliteDesk and ProDesk). One or two models across the office means fewer system images for IT and simpler reorders.
Workstations: when an office desktop is not enough
A workstation is built to run under heavy load for hours. It has professional graphics (NVIDIA RTX PRO or AMD Radeon PRO) and an Intel Xeon, AMD Threadripper PRO or Intel Core Ultra processor. Many configurations use ECC memory. Software vendors such as Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes and Siemens certify specific models. For CAD and BIM this matters more than benchmarks, because vendor support expects a certified configuration when you open a case.
We quote Dell Pro Max (formerly Precision), HP Z and Lenovo ThinkStation. Most workstations are built to order (CTO) by the manufacturer to your specification. They are priced on request, and the quote states the build time. Components fitted at the factory are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
